In late January 2024, Forcepoint implemented generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) powered Smart Search capabilities on the Customer Hub. This article lists some tips and tricks for using the Smart Search functionality and how to receive the best results out of the generated answers.

The generative AI functions best when search queries are written as questions or sentences instead of a list of keywords:
Note If the query does not return a generated answer, try to change the terminology and use the rephrase options.
When GenAI creates the answer, it might not know the product context and thus the answer could include steps for different Forcepoint products. To avoid this happening and to guide GenAI to provide a product specific answer, use the Product facets on the left:

The Learn More section below the generated answer lists links to the knowledge articles and documentation GenAI used as a basis for the answer. Use these links to learn more about the subject:

The rephrase buttons outputs the generated answer between step-by-step instructions, a bullet-point list, or a short summary:
If you wish to share the generated answer with your colleagues, the answer can be copied easily with the
Copy answer button:
Use the
Thumbs Up (Helpful) or
Thumbs Down (Not Helpful) buttons to provide feedback as to whether the information was relevant and correct:
Forcepoint Customer Hub generative answering uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to provide each generative answer. This means that the more searches are performed, the more these features will learn, which leads to better and more accurate answers over time.
