Problem Description

I have created a new Forcepoint DLP Endpoint or Forcepoint One Endpoint installer package to apply on user machines. What can I check on the workstation to confirm the version of the Endpoint Client that is installed and running?


When the Forcepoint DLP Endpoint Client is installed on a workstation in interactive mode, you can confirm it is installed by opening the Forcepoint One Endpoint user interface from selecting the green Forcepoint icon on the task tray.

The following can be performed to determine the build of the Endpoint: 
  1. Double-click on the Forcepoint icon in the task tray to bring up the Endpoint GUI.
  2. When the GUI is open, click on the blue "i" button on the top right.
  3. This shows the Endpoint build version as well as the Policy Engine (Endpoint Classifier) version. The build version is determined by the package builder executable that was used, and the Endpoint Classifier version is determined by the EPA and EPA64 MSI files that accompanies the builder.
