Problem Description

We recommend disabling the PIN code query when you use Forcepoint Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) 51 LTE appliances.

Resolution

Note: You must use backslash characters (\) to escape the quotation marks in all AT commands. Replace <PIN code> with your PIN code in all commands.
  1. Log on to the appliance.
The user name is root and the password is the one you set for the appliance.
  2. To check the PIN status, enter the following command:
    modem-info 0 -p
  3. To enter the PIN, enter the following command:
    modem-info 0 -P <PIN code>
  4. To check whether the PIN code query is enabled, enter the following command:
    modem-info 0 -u 'AT+CLCK=\"SC\",2,\"<PIN code>\"'
When the PIN code query is enabled, the following output is shown:
    +CLCK: 1

    OK
Note: If the PIN code query is already disabled, the command to disable it fails.
  5. To disable the PIN code query, enter the following command:
    modem-info 0 -u 'AT+CLCK=\"SC\",0,\"<PIN code>\"'
  6. To verify that the PIN code query is disabled, enter the following command:
    modem-info 0 -u 'AT+CLCK=\"SC\",2,\"<PIN code>\"'
When the PIN code query is disabled, the following output is shown:
    +CLCK: 0

    OK
