Problem Description

macOS Native Apps for processing Print and Clipboard activities made available with macOS 10.13 are not supported in macOS DLP Endpoint versions (except for the Safari browser) prior to 8.5.0.2831.

Resolution

Native Applications shipped with macOS 10.13 include the following: Calendar, Photos, Mail, Notes, Script Editor, Preview, Numbers, Keynote, Safari, Messages, and TextEdit. Apple reserves the right to add, delete, or change these with any macOS upgrade.

The Endpoint Clipboard and Print channels for macOS Native Applications is supported with macOS 10.12.2 and higher, but is optimal with macOS 10.13.x. The Functionality remains the same with macOS 10.11.x.

NOTE: Other elements of these macOS Native Applications are not officially supported by the Forcepoint DLP Endpoint as of May 2018.
