Notes & Warnings

Important
  • If updating to Forcepoint Security Appliance Manager (FSAM) version 1.2.1 or 2.0.0, the following hotfixes will need to be applied to your Appliances:
    • 8.3: APP-8.3.0-018
    • 8.4: APP-8.4.0-002
  • If these hotfixes are present on the Appliance and the FSAM is version 1.2.0 or earlier, Appliances may not load information in the user interface and will instead be grayed-out. If you are not planning to upgrade the FSAM to version 1.2.1 or 2.0.0, please uninstall this hotfix from the affected Appliance(s).
  • Forcepoint Security Appliance Manager (FSAM) version 2.0.0 will work for appliances running 8.3, 8.4 or 8.5, but if the Forcepoint Security Manager (FSM, formerly TRITON manager) is not on 8.5, FSAM 2.0.0 will not work, presenting as unable to log into the GUI. See Forcepoint Security Appliance Manager Installation Guide for 2.0.0 for details.
